Found an open source simple blogging "software" using static html pages. Perfect for neocities or small web projects.
I haven't tried it yet, but I think even baby coders could implement it fairly easily!

Now, thanks to Zonelets, you can create an UNPROFESSIONAL-looking website by writing NUMEROUS lines of code!
HELL YEAH
LOL. Right? But it is actually simple when you look at the set-up. I'm digging it.
It lives!
!
Omg this is amazing!!!
I love it! I've been busy, but I definitely think I'm using this for the blog portion of my page.
i am looking Very Intently
I tried this as a baby coder and lost an afternoon. 10/10, would recommend.
It's not that it's hard to implement, but setting it up forces you to actually open up the stylesheet, the raw HTML and the script to tinker with it and once you start doing that it's like "what does this do? *poke*" until you're pretty deep into the weed trying to customize the page.
Seems about right. That's what ALWAYS happens with premade styles. I kinda like that, thought because you can pick up a lot of tricks that way.
okay but, i was checking out zonelets and they linked to nearly free speech and i really like the fact that they honestly don't give a fuck what you host so long as it's actually legal in the US but it's a bit too DIY that i have no idea if i'd be able to figure it out
