tried out "survive" instead of "cold sweat" for the temperature systems and it turns out i like cold sweat more. survive is fine, and i do like some of its other mechanics, but i can't remove the temperature-related tooltips when i turn that part off, so guess we're getting rid of the whole thing. (for now.)

(i've already added "insulated" tags to all crafted armors, since i've made all armor need to be created with leather anyway. this does mean, though, that armors found in chests are NOT insulated. which could have some cool lore implications if i think about it some more.)

also found simply seasons which i'm really liking! it even changes the day:night ratio depending on the season! (it works in tandem with serene seasons, which is good cuz. i like serene seasons)

i also added in flower seeds and terra incognita. i was looking for a sunflower seed mod (flower seeds mod doesn't include 2-block flowers), found one that seemed a bit too overcomplicated for me, then just ended up making my own sunflower seed items through kube.



interesting note: biome mods all apparently like to add in their own reeds and cattails. not sure what's up with that, but i was able to integrate them anyway. relatedly, considering if i really want biomes o plenty or if i have enough biomes just in general from other mods.

(did y'all know tconstruct adds in new slimes and sky islands? i did not. i disabled them because i Hate minecraft slimes, but still. i thought this was a tool mod.)

... but i'll probably keep bop. a lot of mods already have optional bop integration anyway, and i like having more places to adventure to.


(another fun mod: fish in planks. :) adds fish crates you make with 3x3 fish in the crafting table. downside: doesn't have integration for aquaculture 2. :( )
